SAC Log Submissions

September 25th, 2008

Already a couple of hours after the SAC CW was finnished we had received over 400 logs. And today, Thursday, we are up to 700 logs.

The contest leader SM3CER, Janne handles all the logs manually, i.e. we do not have any log robot, other than Janne. As you can imagine it will take some time until you will get your log submission confirmed. SM3CER will finally acknowledge your log by an email. So please be patient! So far has about 300 email replies been sent out.

A list with received logs will be published at http://www.sk3bg.se/contest/, but it will take a while. After the log deadline the 31st of October a list of claimed scores will be published. Then you will be able to check that your log is in the correct section.

Email addresses for log submission are:

Dealine for log submission is the 31st of October 2008

SAC CW Score Rumors

September 23rd, 2008

It looks like we experienced some increase in activity during the CW contest, both within and outside Scandinavia. It will take some while before the final results will ready and in the meantime we advice every participant to post their preliminary scores on the 3830-reflector. WA7BNM is providing a score submittal form which makes it easy to post your score. You don’t have to subscribe to the reflector in order to post your score! All submitted scores will be listed in one list. Please go to the 3830-reflector archive to see the latest listing.

SAC Bandplanning Tool

September 16th, 2008

SAC Bandplanning Tool
As an experiment we have put together a band planning tool that can be used before and during the contest. The tool gives an overiew of all bands in a 3 hour time frame. Take a look and check if you find it useful:

New: Maps are now refreshed by the current time every 2nd minute automatically.

Thanks to Jari OH6BG who has provided us with the maps. More information about propagation is found on the Propagation Page.
